This beautiful apartment was completely refurbished in 2024 to a high standard. Two simple and super comfortable double bedrooms sit either side of the central hallway, with a large vestibule area at one end, and a great kitchen/sitting room at the other. There is also a brand new shower room and a separate loo, too.
Stay for one night, or come for a few weeks. If you would like to stay for longer than a week, please get in touch and we can discuss rates.

The Old Stables building is home to a working warehouse, two offices and connects up to several event spaces. So you are likely to see lots of our team around, and there will likely be a few dogs around too. Say hi! The team is very friendly.

We recommend traveling by train to Chester, and then getting the bus or a taxi to Hawarden. You can also get the train to Hawarden itself which is served by smaller train lines but we do not really recommend this.

This is a newly refurbished flat finished to amazing standards, set within an old stable building.
There are two bedrooms, a brand new bathroom, and a kitchen with dining space, and a super comfortable sitting room. There is good wifi (no TV).
There is a parking spot right outside. No outdoor space is included with this property.
The building that the flat sits within is the main ‘hub’ office for all things Hawarden Estate. Booking this flat is not part of the Hawarden Estate Holidays offer - it is, though, absolutely fantastic here.
There will be lots of people going in and out of the main building, but the flat is completely private to you.
Everyone is friendly, so be sure to say hello! Hawarden Estate is a traditional working estate, so you might see some of our team on tractor and quad bikes around the site.

Have a look at our classes at The Walled Garden School. You can book in to use our Welsh-made wood-fired sauna, too. We also have a load of family friendly events at Hawarden Estate Farm Shop and The Glynne Arms, where you can also book to eat and drink, too.

Your booking comes with access to the backtrack to the Farm Shop.
There is no other Estate access included with this booking: the Old Castle, Walled Garden, Lake access and so on are not included.
We provide linens, towels, some cleaning products, great wifi, records, a record player. All utilities are included in your stay.

Yes! We are dog friendly.
We just ask that they do not go on furniture, sofas or beds. Please bring poo bags for around the Estate and surrounding areas, too.
You will see other dogs around during your stay. -
You can check in any day except Sundays and bank holidays.

There is no step free access as this flat is situated on the first floor of the main building.
