Welcome to Hawarden Estate, one of Britain’s most creative, forward-thinking, storied and beautiful private estates.

For the past twenty years this has been a place in transition as two generations of the Gladstone family restore and reinvigorate this unique place through the renovation of historic buildings and a giant walled garden, the creation of new businesses, the restoration of wild meadows and woodland and the conversion of farmland to organic.

There’s a huge amount for everyone to enjoy on Hawarden Estate, so much so that once you arrive, you’ll never want to leave.

We have a multi-award-winning Farm Shop and restaurant, some of the finest holiday homes in Britain, The AA Welsh Pub of the Year (2020), a campsite, endless activities from lake swimming to abseiling, a Grade 1 listed private events space, The Walled Garden School that offers inspiration and education in craft, food and wellness and our famous Summer Camp.
